So, what was the trigger for us to start a new business?

After having lived for many years in Switzerland we returned to the UK. Sue likes Fondue (and Raclette) and she had always thought that the British would like to eat traditional Swiss Fondue. The idea was born: Let’s prepare a box and home deliver all that is needed to cook and enjoy a tasty traditional Swiss Fondue! This of course includes the Caquelon, the stove with burner, Fondue plates and Fondue forks as well as specially selected herbs which perfectly compliment the taste of Swiss cheese, as well as an authentic Swiss cheese fondue mix (specially shipped from Switzerland) and chunks of bread prepared ready for your Fondue fork!

We started in April 2020, first designing the concept of “how to package” the box, where to source Swiss cheese and Fondue equipment. Not a straightforward process! We had to jump over many administrative and technical hurdles! And as usual: The devil lies in the detail!
